TITHES OF HONOR
Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a
tenth of the spoils. Hebrews 7:4
The MOTIVATION for giving TITHES is “Obedience to God!” Giving our tithes of honor
consists of separating the ten percent of all our income or profits to give it to God, because
they belong to Him and also for the advancement of His Kingdom. Tithes of Honor were
established in Genesis 14:20, when Melchizedek’s priesthood intercept Abraham in the
Marketplace. SEED-offering is what we give to God voluntarily, in addition to our tithes.
When we bring SEED-offerings to God, He brings abundance to our finances. “Tithes of
Honor” are also important for those of you who see Phil Trujillo Ministries as a spiritual
father or God-assigned mentor and apostolic voice into your life. Your “Tithes of Honor”
become a point of contact with the special grace the LORD has placed upon the Man of
God.
SEED-OFFERINGS
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows
bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his
heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is
able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in
all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
The MOTIVATION for giving SEED-Offerings is “FAITH!” This is why SEED carries the
highest return than any other offering because it something you SOW when your faith to
believe God for BIG THINGS in your life is stirred…not because God commands such as in
the case of Tithes and Firstfruits. SOW your SEED today…and expect God to release an
Uncommon Harvest in your Life!
FIRST FRUITS
The best of all firstfruits of any kind, and every sacrifice of any kind from all your
sacrifices, shall be the priest’s; also you shall give to the priest the first of your
ground meal, to cause a blessing to rest on your house. Ezekiel 44:30
The MOTIVATION for giving First-fruit is “Obedience and the desire to PUT GOD FIRST!”
First fruit gives God the permission to be the first partaker from whatever NEW field of
increase (New job, business or pay raise) that He has just opened up for you. By giving God
First-fruit you make Him the defacto owner of your new field of blessing to grow and protect
it from the devourer.
